Brooklyn has always had a rich and varied food culture, but as far as we know it's never been known for its thriving restaurant scene. In fact, until recently, it was difficult to find anything more interesting than pizza after 9 o'clock at night. While there has always been a wide range of ethnic spots and neighborhood joints, serious dining establishments were few and far between. Lately however, adventurous restaurateurs have been flocking to our borough, bringing with them new dining opportunities, later hours and a bustling food scene--which makes dining out in Brooklyn more exciting than ever!
